Good lesson
planning is the key to successful teaching. It is the central component of
teaching. Lesson planning is done with a view to anticipate pupil’s reaction,
to visualize possible learning situations and to avoid difficulties.

A lesson is
defined as a blue print or a plan for action for transacting a compact portion
of the curriculum, within the duration of a period.

arranged in the order in which they are to be presented”.
